Default 32mm Bases: Some day, I'll be able to actually order some, maybe...

I've been trying to buy some so I can build my new Space Wolves army using them (I really like the look). Unfortunately, the GW website has been perpetually out of stock on them since christmas. At one point I saw them on Ebay for about $5 for 5 now it's $25 for 5 (buy it now).

I also signed up for the "email alerts" when the product is in stock. Last night I got an email saying it was back in stock, only to go to the GW store to find it back out of stock...

Anyone find an alternative supply for 32mm bases?

I understand the new necrons are being packaged with 32mm bases too... the scarcity of them over the past weeks might be because all production was going towards the new products.

As someone whose converted his GK's to 32mm bases... SM's look a whole lot better on them than 28mm.

Best decision that GW has made in a long time IMO.

Hi marful,
I know your pain!
seems like GW almost doesn't want to sell them!

I'd have to agree with Defenestraus that they look much better, now if only they were more readily accessible...
The only alternative I've found so far are resin ones on eBay, and then only from one seller.
take a look, there are a few different designs:

Thanks for the link Culial!

I spoke to a friend today who mentioned Dragonforge. Seems like they have a lot of 32mm bases, yay!

I'd rather make my own bases than shell out $1.50 per base, but it seems like this is the only way.

We have some. Not the best way to make them, but they are quite popular, actually, and affordable.

sorry mate, probably because I ordered 34 packs of 10 to rebate my csm army XD

Marines look great on the 32. Left the cultists on 25's great differentiation between the lot now.

I bought 100 30mm plastic bases on ebay for just under £6. 5mm bigger than the old ones, and nobody will notice that they are 2mm smaller. they look great.
