Ooh just been shared by BOLS on facebook. thanks guys!

Ok gents, final update for a few days as i've got some building yet to do. May i present the first teaser infantry. I have rebased Narik, started work on my tyrant terminators and done my tactical sgt (to the most part)

I've got some touching up to do on them before i am happy to say 'finished' but i think i've cracked the scheme for the infantry.

    thoughts?

It's been years and years since i've fielded an actual chaos marine army. The codex is poor, the current lore is uninspiring and there's little fun to be had unless you spam the same cookie cutter chaos/daemons list. That however changed when i got my hands on Imperial armour 5 and 13. I've since had a few dark plans and my Iron Warriors, unseen using a chaos codex since the death of 3.5 are back.

Firstly, let me introduce you to Skane, High Warlock of the Casternals. He's also brought some friends....

Some Oblits (oh i had fun with these, I'd forgotten why every iron warrior wanted them regardless of how good the rules are)

And what's life without a pie plate?

New bases i've been working on.

The theme? The genocide on Olympia. The lore describes a word reduced to death, where bodies burned in the streets and all was ash. I think these bases go some of the way to convey that without being over the top.

    What do we think?

That's some great weathering, especially on the vehicles.
