Default Deathwatch Knights

I've always liked the Forge World Black Templar shields. Found some going cheap on the eBay, and decided to combine them with Deathwing Knights for my Deathwatch Army (http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?49607-Deathwatch-Army).

Obviously their equipment combo isn't legal. Ask me if I give a s***: no. No I don't. So in game terms, I'll either run them as Deathwing Knights or THSS Terminators.

The helmets, if anyone's interested, come from the Valkir Heavy Trooper kit (http://dreamforge-games.com/collections/infantry/products/eisenkern-valkir-heavy-trooper), and were left over from my recent plastic SoB build (http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?52847-Non-GW-Plastic-Sisters-of-Battle). I think they look rather swish.

they look great Yorkie, are the 'I' Shoulderpads in the Grey Knight Termy kit? I've had the power armour kit and haven't seen them in that kit, or are they a scratch build?

You get one and one alone in the standard Terminator boxed set; got the five needed for this lot through bits sites/eBay.

Don't they? Those Valkir kits are awesome.

I might be being stupid... but the helmets in the link are skull faced stahlhelms, not cylon knight looking things?

Three, technically. Twenty-five stahlhelm gasmask-heads, twenty of the plain knight helmets, and twenty 'fluted' knight helmets.

It's a good boxed set for bits...

I may need to use this idea, it works so well and there is no size difference to make it look too big or small head wise.

Ah, there we go, as I said, being stupid.

Thanks for point it out Kirsten and York.

May definitely have to steal the idea.
