The main thing that I thought was missing out of the book were rules on repairing vehicles, but that's not what the Skitarii do.

I'm sure that when the full Admech Codex drops, we'll see plenty of Techpriests, some more neat vehicles, different kinds of Servitors, and plenty of other things.

Well, can't get my models until Thursday at the earliest, due to various travel arrangements and that.

And if I miss Thursday, won't be in my hands until the following Thursday.

But, in Nottingham next weekend, so shall buy the Codex near to where it was written

Quite possibly a very deliberate design consideration.

    Thought:

There's no "supplement" Codexes anymore. There's just Codexes. Some are big, some are small, some have new models, some have combinations of old models, but they're all Codexes. Full, stand-alone books (which can of course be used in an Allies system). I think we saw the first of these with Tempestus Scions, then of course Knights. Harlequins, Skitarii and Daemonkin seem to me to be evidence that there's not going to be time and money put into "variant list" books like Iyanden and Black Legion so much as books which combine existing or new miniatures into an army in its own right. The Iyanden supplement isn't available and it might not come back; I think if Craftworlds does something like provide bespoke Detachments for the major Craftworlds (a Saim-Hann one which is mostly Fast Attack; a Biel-Tan full of Elites, etc.) then we'll really be able to confirm that trend.

Shame, I actually liked the supplements for what they were - backround books. They did pick some odd choices though.

Default A question about the AdMech doctrines

It's been quite a while since I've played a 40k game. I have a question about these doctrines. Can a game last longer than 6 turns? What doctrine, if any, can a Skitarii player use on turns 7+?

Whatever is left. You MAY use them. There is no rule that you HAVE to pick one every turn.
