Dunno dude. Can't wound T6+, so Nurgle Bikers will be alright (I think they still get up to T6?)

So far, I don't recall seeing any that lower T at range. It's only the Vanguard that irradiate people, and even then only in combat.

I do expect we'll see something along those lines though - perhaps that big walking tank we saw the other week, which still hasn't shown up on the releases.

They do appear to have shred, as well, so the rerolls would help some. and there is something cathartic about rolling a bucket o dice.

That's true.

Though the Stub Carbine is tempting. Assault 3, 18" range means it is likely to be fired more often, and the S4 is little to be sniffed at.

Actually, not an easy choice. Flechette Blaster, being a Pistol, may grants an extra attack (Taser Goads not being specialist weapons) which is a boon in itself really.

I can see these guys being a pain for Tyranid players. Fairly tough except against S6, lots of shots to knacker Gaunts, and those Taser Goads will do horrible things to Warrior sized bugs, as you're +2 S, and every six to wound inflicts two more wounds to be saved. I'm tempted to say Monstrous Creatures and Terminator equivalents have the least to fear, simply because they tend to have solid enough saves - but even then, the sheer number of wounds these guys have the potential to cause is staggering, and having wiped out a Terminator squad with Tomb Blades concetrating fire whilst they were bunched up, I'm very familiar how quantity can indeed make up for quality, at least in terms of AP-.....

I am surprised that there is as yet NO template weapons in the army. I was really hoping for a Rad or Phosphor "flamer"
