Go find that Darksphere games or whatever its called that everyone recommended, the amount stuff on the shelves is damn impressive.

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

It looks like the second Ad Mech Codex has been found:

via Atia on Bolter & Chainsword 4-8-2015

This thread will be for the next Mechanicus release - the Codex: Cult Mechanicus. I think we need a new thread for this, as the Skitarii one is big enough msn-wink.gif

first, early rumours regarding this release:

via Sad Panda on Dakka Dakka:
"As mentioned elsewhere, this summer on the 40K-side of things is mostly about the folks from Mars (but no (global) campaign), as well as a few 1-week-releases (think Necrons). And of course, the new Fantasy kicking off Q3."

via Lords of Wargaming, facebook:
April/May It's Admech, but there will be two codices. Also tanks will be walkers.

From LowG facebook
"They are not actually Admech. That codex will release later. The books will be Skatarii and Cult Mechanicus."
"Supplements, but models as well."

also, i've found this URL re-directs today smile.png

Nice.

Though not massively familiar with such things - could those just be made up links, or do you get a different 404 screen if you put in random names and numbers?

When I saw a redirect before it was taken down in the past, it led to a blank page. Header and footer were there, but otherwise white. Later, after its discovery was posted to the Internet, it became a 404 error page.

Once the redirects are 404 errors, it's hard to know if they were actually there unless you actually saw the white page.

Seems a bit odd, though, that people keep finding all these store URLs, and by the time I click on them, they're 404. Is GW's web staff setting things up early and only pulling them once people spot them? Why even set up the links ahead of time if you'll just end up pulling them if they're discovered? Save the trouble and don't push them live.

"Cult mechanicus" sounds more like a focus on the tech-priests and techo-religious stuff...sounds more my thing. I still ordered the Skitarii codex for the art and fluff though.

The price isn't that bad (£20 for 80 pages) either compared to some of the others.

Codex Knights is £25 and only has 64 pages.

Codex Militarum Tempestus (softback) is £25 and has 72 pages
Please support a Poor starving musician and buy my new album for only £5 :

Yeah I've checked a couple times to see if they had the new Skitarii stuff in stock yet as curious what their prices for those kits will be. I've ordered from them a couple times now and they are superb.
Either there is life in the universe more intelligent than us, or we are the most intelligent form of life in the universe. Either way, it's a worrying thought!

And not long now until my first chance to nab my Skitarii.

Unless.......hmm. Outside chance I may catch the local store still shutting up shop for the day. Might just get them in my mitts today....

That's not the significant part. Notice that the urls posted in this thread are all in lower case, and when you visit them the names become upper case; that's the indication of the redirect. If you tried to go to, say, http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/random-gibberish, you'll note the same thing doesn't happen. There's something in the database the requests are being made against that matches up those names.
