I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: "O Lord make my enemies ridiculous." And God granted it. --Voltaire
Hope the Electro-priests *look* like priests and have trailing cables instead of legs...they could even make the trailing cables electro-conductive to be used as a weapon.

Twelve monkeys, eleven hats. One monkey is sad.
LOL - When it comes to futuristic warfare, aliens and cyborgs - absolutely. Mars shouldn't be limited by the human form since their all cyborgs! It does make sense for the Skitarii but on the cult mechanicus and cybernetic I want to see trailing cables, tanktracks and spider legs. My fave is def the trailing cable look, i like the best. It looks creepy and is actually quite original and makes you wonder more what is under all those robes. Don't forget I have a tarantula though, so I do love things with lots of fluffy legs and princess personalities XD

trailing cables are good, as are tracks and spider legs.

to me it just shows the mechanicum could be the most diverse "imperial" army. I don't really see them as "imperial" anyway - despite the alliance, they are like a seperate faction that just happens to work alongside the imperium. Mars has it's own unique culture and look and that medieval techno insanity is something I've never seen in any other SF setting making them one of few aspects of the backround that could be genuinely considered "original" I think.
