BFG: Game Length

I'm about to start playing BFG with coworkers at lunch time. We plan on starting with 500pt fleets to learn the rules.

Once you learn the rules well, how long does it take to complete a 500pt game?

If I wanted to tailor our games to around the 50-70min mark, how large a game would that be?

Is there anything to the missions objectives that can greatly affect the amount of time needed to complete a game?

start with cruiser clash (1 cruiser 200 pts or so) to learn, then add second and go to 500 pts
you will learn the game better and have a better sense of how much time a 500 pts game will take
