Morning, Loungers.
I played my first game of 7th in quite a while yesterday (I've been playing fantasy, ok? gimme a break). It was a game between CSM and SW and Fearless and ATSKNF raised a couple of issues for us.
In previous editions, Fearless said that when you lost combat, rather than fleeing, you automatically passed your morale check and simply took a number of wounds, equal to the number by which you lost combat, allowing saves. ATSKNF was similar: lose combat, fail morale, and run, except that if you got caught in a sweeping advance, rather than being cut down mercilessly, your men turned and fought on, suffering a number of wounds equal to the number by which you lost combat, allowing saves.
Is this the case in 7th? I couldn't find anything in the rulebook about it. So as I read it, in the current edition, fearless means you pass morale and pinning and leadership checks, automatically, with absolutely no downside other than being stuck in a combat you might not want to be stuck in. The same with ATSKNF; Space Marines simply can't be cut down anymore, at all.
Also, do flamers have any effect on overwatch? Or did I imagine that?
Thanks for the help in advance.
