Then I browsed eBay and found this:

And now I'm thinking cheap Hulkbuster toy (which you know there will be a metric sh*tton of in May when 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is out) + Tau bits + paint + little bit of plasticard magic = Cheap and cheerful Riptide conversion.

No, you won't be able to tournament with it. But still... It would be kind of the Western version of the Gundam Riptide I did a year and a bit ago. Which would be nice.

I agree. It has more of the size and shape of a Thanatar. Just slap some huge guns on it, and you're good to go.
