A brief intro, me & my little project

Hi all!

Just wanted to give an intro about me and my new project. I'm Sarah, from the UK. I started off gaming with Hero Quest and Space Crusade many years ago, this progressed to playing WH and WH40K, though I've been absent from the gaming community for quite a while simply due to it being a bit too pricey for me for the last few years...though now looking to get back into it.

I've always had this idea of wanting to do a 'generic sci fi police army', using or converting models that appealed from any range and having it primarily as a collection/display piece, but also to use as a 'counts as' army with mates, if the opportunity for gaming presented itself. The overall image for this sci fi force would be partially drawing from anime, partly from certain video games.

I just wanted to also explain a few things...

1) I'm new to forums in more ways than one, so apologies if a post or pic ever comes out looking a bit odd
2) I'm not a great painter
3) I'm not a great converter

With the above in mind, hopefully the pics below will turn out ok and I can show you guys the start of my project
