    It is official now:

    The mysterious new action on the K-Wing is SLAM:


    and this is suposed to fix multi-missile/trop/bomb ships:

    Once per ship, takes a torpedo-slot (so only effective on Y-, B-, possibly K-Wings, TIE Bomber, possibly Punisher and a Firespray with the Slave 1-Title), for 2 points you get an additional use out of any other torpedo, missile and bomb card you have equipped. Can be combined with Munitions Failsafe, which is a modification.

    I guess Jonus + Scimitars might become a thing, finally.

    There is also a TIE [unreadable] only modification hidden among the Punisher-cards ...

    EDIT: and of course I forgot to mention that there is a discrepancy between the hull value printed on the base cover of the Hound's Tooth and the cards of the same ship ... which will it be?

    Well, that just makes it doubly painful that the TIE Punisher isn't the Missile Boat.

    Odd that you can't perform secondary weapon attacks while SLAMming though (at least, odd wrt to how the SLAM worked in TIE Fighter. I get why it is in game balance terms.)

    I think I've only seen them mentioned in the Blackfleet trilogy

    Well when you have small forces, and you can literally buy everything with a few months disposable income thye have to keep releasing new stuff or acquiring new players don't you?

    They're just currently too expensive.

    To really make the most of them, you need topedoes and missiles, and a failsafe device. Base cost is just too flipping high.

    Which is a real shame, because I've always loved the design.

    But who am I kidding? X-Wing Numberwang must be continued! I'll have one Hounds Tooth, and two of everything else please.

    I am currently writinig something up on how the Extra Munitions card changes the existing ships (once we know the dial and a upgrade bar of the new ships I will add those) - will post it once it is done; suffice it to say for now, that it does help the TIE Bomber but not as a stand-alone craft and the Punisher will not replace it yet.

    The Hounds tooth has an escape Headhunter!! That's so bossssk...
    Look at that K-Wing and that Double Bomber, that much bulk I see them clocking in at the cost of a Starviper...
