Preordered the box today. Tried to resist, but couldn't help myself. Love all of the new assassin models too much (especially that eversor!).

Callidus has always had stupid hair; now is no exception. Pass.

Game seems fun... But £75? For a Chaos Terminator Lord One of the best kits EVAR!, 3 (3!) fugly old Chaos Marines (not even Chosen!) and 15 cultists that I can pick up off the eBay for pennies?

When 'Space Hulk' came with a massive set of totally custom minis, more of them, a twenty-year pedigree and was £10 cheaper?

I haven't smoked a fist-sized lump of meth this morning, so no, GW. No, I will not be buying your worth-£30-at-most game. If the non-Assassin models had been a little better, maybe. But no.

I don't have it, but according to the Black Library website the Assassin Dataslate has been updated to the latest revisions.

(In other news the Eldar Ghost Warriors Dataslate is no longer for sale, so it probably isn't getting an update.)

I am torn on this.

The more I see, the more I think it looks kind of fun, and the Assassin models are really, really nice.

But, it's not a cheap investment - and although the reveals continue, I've not yet seen enough to let me make a decision whether it's quality for munneh.

If they had done new Chaos sculpts buying it would have been a no brainer. I'd have bought at least two.

Only disappointment are the CSM themselves. Sorceror and Cultists I'm rather partial to.

True. The CSM Terminator Lord is a nice enough model and a great base for conversions. Cultists are definitely 'good enough'. The CSM would have been better served by recycling the chosen from the Dark Vengeance set.

honestly, Im surprised they didnt just lift the chosen out of Dark Vengeance.

Think the DV Chosen sprue comes with loads of other bits on it for other DV models, could be confusing
