You don't have to deploy them together necessarily. Jain Zar's ability has a 6'' range so it's not too hard to infiltrate the Scorpions and super-Run your Banshee unit into position to go for whatever you want dead on turn 2.

Because a 13 point power weapon model which denies overwatch, gives -5I, causes fear, has assault grenades, WS5 and moves around 15" a turn is "expensive".
