So i'm ready to switch for a new army as I feel I have finnally got my Mordor army down patt. (won a tourney last week with ORCS)
I really want to do a Rohirim list, I want to stay in fluff. So no dwarf allies or Army of the Dead. Also I really think that foot troops are next to worthless in the Rohan list. So all cavalry! Any ideas on what to take and as far as allies Ent ?, Eagles ?, Gondor troops?

From a pure background point of view the Rohirrim only allied with Gondor during the Third Age.
Before they became the Rohirrim (or Eorlings - not having been granted the land of Rohan by Gondor due to Eorl's aid) they tribe lived north of Mirkwood so it would be conceivable they would have allied with the Elves, as they fought against the remnants of Angmar.
So either Gondor or possibly Elves fit the background.
