Default Question about gearing an interrogator chaplain

    So I haven't played 40k in 9 years so i'm slowly learning....

question - how can/should i gear my termi interrogator chaplain

Im aware lightning claw plus power fist gives + one attack but can i gain this attack with other combos? what about the crozius + thunder hammer or power fist? can dark angels "special" HQ like an interrogator chaplain access standard space marine gear such as the shield eternal? in which case would a power first/thunder hammer be the obvious choice in wep?

I'm running a deathwing list so a power fist is cheaper and wont lose out on the concussive since the termies will have thunder hammers

also isn't there a special rule that makes deathwing units toughness 5 when touching bases. this would make the shield eternal "less important" yes?

    Default

You start with the weapons in the unit entry. You can then swap those for the ones you have access to as per entry. If something is not explicitly mentioned on your list of options, you can't have it. As the Shield Eternal is not in your Codex, you can't have it, I am afraid.

Only weapons with the Specialist Weapon rule in their profile can be combined with other Specialist weapons to gain a bonus attack, weapons without that rule give you no bonus attack when combined with a Specialist Weapon (but of course you can also combine two weapons without the rule for the bonus, just not one with and one without).

As Interrogators are mostly there to buff their unit, I would keep him cheap with a Crozius and maybe a Storm Shield if that is available. Buying an expensive Specialist Weapon will not give you that much more compared to the increase in price.

Deathwing Knights get Toughness 5 in Shieldwall, but only them and characters joined to their unit, not regular Deathwing Terminators.
