yeah it looks awesome, but it'll either be overpriced subscription, free to play-pay to win, or just ruined by randoms.
Why does everything have to be MMO? This would work better as a single/multiplayer setup where you can run your own server and let your mates play with you.
However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

In fact the X3 engine would make a good base for a firefly game.
Scrap the gates, make a bigger sector, add in actual planetary landings and such like...
