Default Nurgle Chaos Lord on Daemonic Mount

Here's a mini that I got to paint up for Warhammer Fantasy (or Age of Sigmar as it is now).

I must say, I really like painting up rotting flesh and pustules. The biggest challenge for Nurgle minis is finding a strong composition that doesn't end up with everything just being brown. I feel I pulled this off on this mini:

Awww.. poor horsey. Seriously though, very nice work. I personally prefer more of a grey-green for my Nurgle. While it doesn't have nearly as much board presence, it looks sicklier and dirtier. Also, nice use of water effects!

Yeah, mud colored minis can really be flavorful, but they also tend to hurt for board presence.

I mean, it is kind of like using realistic camouflage on miniature- if it is done right, then the minis really don't pop.

I have some odd memories of finding some camo minis left on the table after some games.
