    Default Dreadnoughts and Tech marines.

Can you attach a tech marine to a squadron of dreadnoughts?

No; Dreadnoughts are a squadron of vehicles, not infantry.

At least, that's my reading. Unless someone cares to correct me.

    Because that would be awesome.

Yeah that would be awesome. The thought of 2 iron hand dread squads supported by a techmarine, really drummed up my desire for my first Space Marine army.

Aw shucks, maybe in 8th edition.

IC character rules explicity states they can't join MC or Vehicle units.

    That's what I thought.

It would be so, so sweet if they could though. What a squad that would make...

Nothing stopping the Techmarine hanging around like a bad smell though

Good for hiding him from LoS

I was going to say... I can't really see any benefit from a techmarine 'joining' the squad as an IC joins a squad - any Techmarine benefits worthwhile (ie repair) seem to be btb - and you can do this without joining!
I'M RATHER DEFINATELY SURE FEMALE SPACE MARINES DEFINERTLEY DON'T EXIST.

If he joined the unit, they could protect him from melee and shooting. On his own, he is more vulnerable.

But as said above, it is not possible unless you find a formation that specifically allows it, but I can't think of one right now.
