wow, I want one. and the warriors.
wow, I want one. and the warriors.
Twelve monkeys, eleven hats. One monkey is sad.
Big? It's tiny! You'd have to be 28mm scale to live inside that thing! I'm 6'2 - I'd never fit inside it.

You wouldn't be able to live in it either then, unless you bought a LOT more kits and constructed the walls to be taller. It might actually be possible, I guess if you are looking for a new flat you could go that route?

You're forgetting the packaging. That's your roof, that.
And you could use the remainder sprues as decking for your garden.

Gawd damn... I don't even play AoS or Chaos and I want that. That is immense (though still far too small for Xeno and Mystery to live in alas). I wonder how many other people will look at this picture and think "Well that's my Armies on Parade entry right there".
Either there is life in the universe more intelligent than us, or we are the most intelligent form of life in the universe. Either way, it's a worrying thought!
That looks to be 4x4 to me skip, so Armies on Parade would have to be just a section.
It's a pricey centrepiece though - but since when has that stopped a nerd from doing anything?

I thought that at first, but even assuming those Bloodletters are still on just 25mm bases, that tile stretches further than 24 models across. Becomes more obvious with the guys on larger bases. I'd guess they made a special tile for it, or just combined tiles and used modeling putty to cover the joins, so they'd have a nice base to photograph on and display it on.
Price moves it outside of my range, as I'd prefer to spend that money on more games and models (if I ever had that much money to spend on entertainment), but I wouldn't be opposed to the local store taking a collection to get a set like they did with the 40K ruined buildings to cover the urban terrain table.
I think they look a bit better than the starter set ones, but if I had one criticism it would be the joints between the bare arms and bodies (personally if I bought some I'd use green stuff to get rid of those)
