Default Airbrush, compressor and harborfreight questions

I want to buy my first airbrush and compressor. I looked for advice in different forums and discussion. I understood what is better to have (gravity feed, internal mix, double action, tanked compressor...). And I found some possible purchases. Now, I would like to know if what I found is good value for money, if some of you has already bought it etc...

These two offers are pretty similar, they both offer a tanked compressor of an unknown brand, which seems pretty good , plus two (or in the second case, three plus cleaning items etc...) cheap airbrushes, only one should double action. Considering that they do not cost a lot more than buying a single compressor, with these I get some cheap airbrushes to learn the basics and something more. Question is: are they good? How far can a cheap airbrush go (talking about painting techniques)? Is the compressor good?

Are they good? How far can I get with these ones? Plus, the more important question is, does harbor freight send products in Italy?

If I buy an airbrush, what will be the best compressor *between these two*?

    Thanks for answering!

Both of those compressors look the same, based on my experience with airbrushing and compressors, they probably are the same. I think either one would work very well for you in any case.

My first airbrushes were very basic, and I had a few types. I personally felt that they were great to learn with and made painting so much more fun and easy. Base coating 6 Rhinos is 20 minutes blew my mind.

But after doing just base coating, I wanted more and that is when I got a Badger Krome. It is much better than any of the other brushes I used. It has let me learn more advanced techniques and do more than just base coat models. So I'd suggest getting a really cheap brush to start and learn on it and take it as far as you can, and then jump to a better brush and then you will start to get better.

I'd recommend checking out Craigslist. At least in my area, there was a huge selection of sellers who'd bought a compressor/brush, never got around to learning how to use it, and were selling for half price.

Badger make great airbrushes, I've several. My favorite (and seems to be a local favorite amongst hobbyists/miniatures peeps) is the Iwata Eclipse. It's around $120 as a kit as Hobby Lobby, but you can use a regular 40% off coupon against it, regularly.

I bought an old Badger air compressor like the ones you're looking at, but switched to a tank compressor. The reason? Steady flow. Electric compressors don't put out an even flow, but will work (not knocking them, just be aware). The tank compressors (also found at Harbor Freight, check out the 1/2-gallon models) also double as air pumps for bikes, tires, basic air tools and inflating just about anything.

    Thanks for the answers!
First:I'm Italian, I suppose Craiglist works only on USA. If it's a website with second hand advertisements, I checked a similar one in my country and it hadn't anything useful.
Second:Tank compressor. I think I posted links about tanked compressors, right? Except the first one where you can choose tankless/tanked, right? Or do you mean another kind of compressor? I saw the harbor freight ones, they seem quite noisy... And I don't know if it ships in Italy...
And what airbrush would you suggest to start ? A particular model?
