How Big Are Imperial Knight Houses

I was just wondering, on average how large is an Imperial Knight house? Specifically how many knight frames will the typical house have?

In short?

It varies, and tends to be as large as the background story requires.

Some have a few as a couple of dozen suits. Others have hundreds, but lack the pilots.

the Houses on Molech (Black Library HH:Vengeful Spirit) seemed to have something like a dozen each iirc, and that was supposed to be a powerful fortress world...

But yeah, major Knight Houses have dozens of Knights, usually of various different types. Poorer houses or those in decline are likely to only have a handful or even as few as a single knight. Once you get that low, you tend to start wondering if it wouldn't be better to just join another knight house.
