I feel somewhat underwhelmed by it all. Given the quality that FW can do and that the BAngels are master artisans it all feels a bit plain and I totes agree with the barehead comment

I like the bare head, has a cold arrogance about it. Its all considerably more ornate that all but the III, Legion, who are ostentatious, they have to avoid that in the Horus Heresy.

I like the mk3 shoulders (would look great for a sternguard squad) but overall this seems a bit underwhelming. Just not the aesthetic I though FW would go for on them.

I agree I'm underwhelmed, the bare head is particularly poor tbh. Still gonna hit me right in the wallet...

I like them. Not that over-the-top, relatively simple with some basic ideas in the iconography. The head will probably look better painted.

These are just basic guys, not elite units. I like the idea of them not being oversculpted.

Well it make sense that they aren't over the top. However the detailing is just too subtle. Except for the angel winged shoulderpads, you'd hardly tell they were blood angels. Eggplant warriors? Kumquat angels?
