Default Chaos HellBringer

Greetings, Loungers,

Alrighty, I made this thread just so you could see the progress of a ship (VDR that I made) that my friend is making from scratch. It is based off of the Chaos Harbinger from Aeronautica Imperialis... So here is it so far....

Thumbs up

The model seems to be shaping up well. What type of wood are you using there? Looking forward to seeing it painted.

Glad you like it. It will be painted in Night Lords color scheme. I will ask him what kind of wood.

Not sure yet, as I am not the one making it (one of my friends is, as I'm not skilled at scratch building at all... I came up with the design/rules though). I will ask him what it is made out of.

Alright guys, haven't updated for a while, but this is a quote from him on what it is made out of.

Alright guys, it is mostly done, just needs to have the few last details trimmed up. So anyway, because of the limited number of pictures I can put on BoLS Lounge, I have opened up a photobucket account for it. So... here you go.

This is the model it was based off of, the Chaos Harbinger from Aeronautica Imperialis.

This is it, unpainted with weapons mounted

This is the bottom, with weapon mountable areas in blue.
I have Autocannons at H, Lascannons at D, and flamers at B and C.

http://s585.photobucket.com/albums/ss295/ChaosLord127_photos/?action=view&current=HarbingerMOUNT-POINTS.jpg

The autocannons and lascannons will be interchangeable, and the flamers are interchangeable with Heavy Bolters.

And here is the project up to now (it even has a flyer stand ), and this just needs some finishing touches, I should have the finished product soon.

This is made by looking at the pictures on Forgeworld of the Chaos Harbinger, and just built it to 40k scale. He has done amazing stuff, seeing as most of his work is done simply off of photographs, he hasn't even seen a harbinger in person. He has built me two basilisks, two rhinos, a hydra, a Deathclaw drop pod, and a Baneblade, which all look amazing. I will see if I can get a few photos of them up, and maybe do a vid on youtube for them once I get the Hellbringer.

... want... want... want...
your friend's really talented! I await the pics of the other stuff he's built for you with much anticipation.
