Default Starting an Elf force-750 pts

My friends and I are going to try out WotR with some small, 750 pt forces. Does this look like a decent elf list?

    Gildor's Household(3 companies) 240
    High Elf Regiment(3 companies) 215
    -Captain
High Elf Archer Regiment(3 companies) 180
    Numenorean Warriors(3 companies) 90
    -Hornblower
    Forgotten Fortifications 25
    750

Have Gildor's Household Ambush in the Forgotten Fortifications, with the Numenoreans prepared to countercharge anything that tries to dislodge them.

I'm certainly no expert on elf lists but I like the idea of the extra defense on the terrain for your ambushers.

What I would say is that from experience WotR becomes brilliant at larger points levels. I played a few games at 1k and 1.5k and felt it was a fun game but recently I've played at 2k and 2.5k and it's amazing fun, much more interesting and makes you think a lot more. I guess that's down to the variety of units on the board. Perhaps try a few small games to get the hang of the rules then proxy a bunch of bases up to try it out before you spend a fortune on models?
Cats and Dogs are better than kids because they eat less, don't ask for money and if they get pregnant you can sell their children.
