If there's a Tzeentchian character, I'd expect at least one of the Knight kits rumoured to also be Tzeentchian. He's currently the only God without his own 'super unit'

Wow, that looks awesome. What do we think £90 ?
    Amazing looking figure either way.

The price was shown somewhere, I don't remember GBP but it was $165 US.

    Oh wait, found it:

    It's £100.

It's an impressive model (though missing Slaanesh in the heads is odd, and I agree that the mount overshadows Archaon too much), but I can't see spending that much on a shelf model. I had a hard enough time justifying Nagash... which is probably why the only copy of him I have right now is one I got from someone else as part of an army package (and I need to strip it because he fuzzed the primer).

The mount overshadowing Archaon is kind of fitting if you ask me.

We know that Archaon wants to prove the master of Chaos - the model could be said to be a visual reminder that he's on a fools errand in that respect - nobody masters Chaos. Nobody.

I think that was proven when he got obliterated and still got brought back to be their pawn even though he did exactly what he set out to do, destroy the world. He's just eternally Chaos's b***h. Honestly, that kind of ruins his character for me. At this point his original interesting motivation is long gone and he exists just to serve as a puppet of the gods.

We don't really know much about him, other than he can unite the currently squabbling forces.

His ultimate goal could be anything. Daemonhood seems out of his grasp permanently. The last time the Four collaborated on a Daemon Prince they produced Be'Lakor - a being none of them could fully control (largely due to their squabbling nature). He was as a result very much the first and the last Undivided Daemon Prince.

And I'm not massively convinced the Chaos Gods ever wanted to destroy the Old World - I'm pretty confident that was just Archaon's own call. Chaos want worshippers more than destruction. There's a decent argument that Archaon did what he did to end the world's suffering, and to spite the four Gods of Chaos (I said decent argument, not fact )

Need to know more about his role in the Age of Sigmar. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets offed this time. Sigmar nearly had him at Middenheim after all, and Siggy has only got more potent ever since!

Well, the Chaos gods gorged themselves on the souls of the people in the world and did a lot of the destruction themselves, before wandering off to find a new plaything, so they probably did intend to destroy it.

So you'd think it might be a slap in the face that the core of the world survived. Even more so if they could merge the realms with the core and remake the world. It still all smacks of the Old Ones salvaging what they could and remaking some of the races to fight Chaos more efficiently, with some long-term plan.

Really hope I'm not giving them too much credit. (And if they hadn't thought about doing that and read this and want to rip off my idea, I encourage them to do so. It would definitely explain what's going on with AoS's setting.)

I'm not surprised at the lack of slaanesh influence on this figure. I really don't think we will see any more there. The general buzz for quite a while was that there was only so far you could go with crab claws and boobs. I also think the whole sadistic , pleasure seeking idea is too left field for AOS.
Great shame in my opinion. Twas always my personal favourite of the big four.

He's listed as missing, and still has Daemons running around, so definitely not dead (or whatever happens to a God in that respect)

And we know who kidnapped him - that part of the story is yet to be revealed in any detail.

Slaanesh will be back, of that I'm sure.
