Default New WH store, BSE, Suffolk

Whilst not huge news for most, it is for me as I work in BSE.

I thought they where closing down stores?

Looking forward to some games after work 😊

Tell us what you think of it when you've been, I've yet to encounter one of the rebranded shops.
    Wonder if there's much difference?

I've been to the one on Tottenham Court Road, which is supposed to be the flagship of the new style, its similar but a little more open, more professional looking, like a Waterstones but with miniatures instead of books.

Lots of wood and iPads, definitely looks like they're trying to attract a cleaner type of clientèle, Well-Off Parents and Nostalgic Middle-Management Bloke rather than your Standard Nerd.

Whoever showed the bloke running GW an ipad needs a slap. But beyond that sounds interesting.

It does make sense with them moving a lot of items to online only as the range gets bigger, means its always on hand to bring up and order it for the customer, less chance of them saying "no thanks, i'll do it at home"

Yeah, but they had PCs for that anyway. It's more the digital only products that bother me.
Which is mostly Black Library to be fair.

Yeah, it is very annoying being told you can only get a product digitally, and then told nope they won't sell you the product after all because you don't have the 'approved' device for it.
