Default Space Rocks no more.

Well, it was nice while it lasted.

Www.space-rocks.co.uk have been C&D'd by Disney.

I glad I nabbed my bits when I did.

Took the mouseketeers a long time to shut this down. Guess it was so small it slipped by their IP dept!

Damn. Kind of wish I'd gotten a Nebulon-B. But maybe they'll make one for X-Wing (though it does seem a bit unwieldy for that).

Some of their stuff did seem to be just taking a mold of X-Wing models and chopping it up as a "wrecked ship," so it's not surprising they got nixed.

Meanwhile, the guy over on Shapeways (http://www.shapeways.com/shops/mel_miniatures) is still going strong. But he also asked about being allowed to do the ships that FFG isn't covering, so there's probably some kind of deal set up there.

It is a bit unwieldy. A friend has the Space Rocks Nebulon B and it's done at a smaller scale than FFG has done the Corvette etc. to squeeze it into an X-Wing 'format'. Fantastic model though.
