No harm emailing them to ask I guess.

Cawdor and Delaque wouldn't need much doing. Given their chosen togs, it's kind of hard to tell.

It wouldn't be hard to keep every Delaque looking androgynous and every Cawdor completely shapeless lol.
Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!

Even House Meh wouldn't take much. Suggestion of breasts under the T-Shirt and you're pretty much done.

Goliath would be the only one where it might look daft - but then, they could always leave them as the sexist buttholes who don't let girls fight, a counter to Escher.

Van Saar? Swap beard for norks, job done.

    Default Corax...

I agree on Corax, the head/hair is damn weird it looks almost detached from the body, the painted version made it look even worse, its by far the very weakest Primarch attempt.

However, I really enjoyed the event, loads of good chats, epic displays, and it was free. Even walked away with free sprues and free cake. The own (slight) downer, was stock. I came on the Sunday (as Sat tickets disappeared too fast) and nothing I wanted (bar a missile pod for the top of the contemptor) was in stock (from Forge World) plus the even only miniatures also sold off too quick (guess whats on ebay right now, sigh). So apart from having to 'mail order stuff to be sent to me in 3-4 weeks' it was a blast Click image for larger version.

I love Corax, especially in the "flesh" the movement is great. He has long hair, remember how fast a Primarch moves, they're a barely visible blur, his hair is doing what hair does, flowing. He's swooped down, turning his head to fire at the traitor as he does. His face (always the best part of the Primarch models, its why Mortarion is a bit of a let down) has the look of utter determination.

That's the biggest problem for me. Words is coming out that they're doing plastic starter sets and resin for teams/gangs/warbands. That means likely only the starter sets would get to GW stores or FLGS's (if FLGS's can even order those). An FLGS especially wouldn't be keen on pushing a game where their customers have to take money away from the shop to keep playing, even if players got interested in something that's barely stocked (one of the issues with competing games right now).

If they go that route, they're going to ensure the games never take off by keeping them even more niche than they already are.

Maybe people heard wrong. Or maybe GW's management really is that out of touch with the market they serve.

Necromunda needs to be all about the terrain. Couldn't agreed more on that. With the advances in terrain since the cardboard + plastic struts era though, a plastic gantry system with a hive/city/refinery feel should be pretty easy taking from existing sprue styles.

I've got high hopes and big expectations for SG dept. Let's hope they can deliver...

You're once again labouring under the impression that GW do or should give **** about local gaming stores.

there is no reason to assume that resin gangs wouldn't be sold in stores. old metal gangs were, the new specialist games division isn't the same as Forge World, and even if it were, we know Forge World are rumoured to be coming in to stores anyway, so griping about that serves little purpose at this point.

Online Ordering is the easiest way. Better stock control, and can be sold direct in GW Stores, saving shelf space witho drastically reducing overall availability.
