Default Obscure 90's TCG with scratch card action?

    Afternoon all.

This is doing my nut, so I'm hoping to raid your collective memory.

Back in the 90's, my brother and I briefly dabbled in a TCG, the name of which has utterly escaped me.

I'm sure it was fantasy themed, and nothing to do with GW.

It was a sort of top trumps type affair, but in true capitalist style each card could ultimately only be used once, because in order to play the game you had to scratch off foil coverings to work out your attacks and that.

I know the sodding thing existed, but my Google-Fu is weak, and I've drawn a total blank. If it's any help, it was available in Newsagents, so possibly a Topps, Merlin or Panini product, rather than a 'proper' Magic Clone.

Help me, BoLSy Wan-Kenobi, you're my only hope!

I had ton's of those cards when I was at boarding school back in 1992, I enjoyed having games with them, most of my collection was unused though, some ******* stole them out of my wardrobe shortly before our school got closed down, never did find out who took them, damn things are worth a fortune now.....
