Xiphon vs Stormhawk

Hi all,

Just a quick net thrown out to gauge how people are feeling about the Xiphon, especially in light of the new Stormhawk. Seems like the latter can do everything the Xiphon can (or analogous) for just over half the points cost.

Thoughts? Do you think the Xiphon still has a role to play at its current points cost, etc etc?

Xiphon is an odd flier. It's like a Fighter, but has dedicated anti-tank firepower.

Two twin Lascannons, and that Missile Launcher. It's a precision ground attack craft. Now, outside of Heresy games it'll struggle to pull its weight, simply because Heresy has more numerous high value armour than your average 40k game (Typhon, Spartan, Sicarian etc). But, with the right targets it's pretty decent

Xiphon is also pretty beastly at taking out the heavier fliers, like SM Attack flyers, as they are usually AV12 and Autocannons can be somewhat outmatched trying to take them down.
