    Nowt said.

But I swear Nuns on Bikes were mentioned in the FW Seminar. That's unlikely to be SoB given they're working on Sisters of Silence, so it seems possible the earlier rumour of SoB Bikers is a confused one...

Sadly, some goon behind me couldn't shut up, so I can't be sure I heard what I think I heard.

Did you use physical violence to get the design team to make an Enslavers army yet?

Anyone else noticed all the displays / showcases / announcements today seem to be Forge World, Specialist Games, Black Library and that GW them selves seem to be remaining happy showing what they've done over the last two years. I'm going to emphasize the today bit cause I dont think that's going to be the plan for tomorrow.

    * And confirmed to me via a friend. GW and their partners started handing out discount keys for Steam this morning at Dreamhack. Specifically marketing Warhammer Totalwar although buzz / rumour was saying wait till Monday for software developer announcements. When it was mentioned Warhammer fest is happening now the marketing crew "smiled and went quite."

Do we know yet what 30k Mechanicum toys we would be getting in the new IA book? I've seen a pic of a Thanatar with the mention "Imperial Armour - Fire of Cyraxus" floating on the net

    Defo Thantar, and Secutarii.

Now, what others they were playing close to their chest.

Cyraxcus was described as a semi-forgotten backwater Forgeworld....but it has secrets.....

Glad to hear the Thanatar is among the chosen. I think the more exotic stuff will be excluded (Domitar, Ursurax, Calix...). I would bet that the Thallaxi and the Myrmidons are among the ones in the book (after all, they're mentionned in the GW book).

I am so looking forward to this book. This will finally justify my acquisition of those wonderful models!

I think they'll be Female BB players/teams when they release the High Elf/Dark Elf Teams.

I hope not. If true, Christ that's pathetic. I mean, par for the course when it comes to anything GW related, but still utterly f**king pathetic.

And you know, you just f**king know it'll be more f**king chainmail godd*amned bikinis, which is so much more depressing given how amazing the new Blood Bowl stuff looks otherwise.

    *sigh*

Seriously, f**k wargaming's relentlessly backwards attitude. Never ceases to make me embarrassed to be a fan.

It's not surprising, seeing how most ****head fans of this hobby react to anything even slightly progressive. Seriously, this hobby is the ****ing worst. Saw loads of racist **** about that ONE warhammer quest hero.

It's always a bleak irony to me that fans of a hobby which is ostensibly dedicated to imagining different worlds seem incapable of imagining different worlds.

And by 'different worlds' I mean 'anywhere in the Western hemisphere after about 1972'.

Things that don't exist like combat lasers and Dreadnoughts and daemons and twenty foot tall transhumans with neurosurgical implants pushing them into a relentless combat frenzy and cathedrals that walk armed with guns that shoot nuclear explosions are all fine. But making models to represent the entire fifty percent of the human race your game seems to think doesn't f**king exist, and doing so in clothes that are designed for actual combat rather than BDSM?

Well, that's somehow beyond the pale, and if you want that, you're the c*nt.

And that's without mentioning the fact there are more models with blue skin in the far future than there are with black.

Seriously, the lack of imagination some fans of wargaming have is so absurd that if you tried to explain it to the non-gaming Muggles, they just wouldn't believe you.
