How Many Points?

I have never played WoTR and was wondering how many points the "standard" game actually is?

I'm not sure what the standard game is but I've found that as soon as you go to 2000 or 2.5k the game becomes so very much more tactical and better fun to play than at lower points costs.

It's really important that you agree with your opponent the type of game you're playing though as some hero combinations can be deeply unpleasant. I've found that sticking to fairly sensible / balanced / fluffy lists makes for a fun wargame for both players.
