nice and clean , sharp looking .
These look cool Like the greens on the cloaks in particular, how did you paint them?
I love this. The oxidized metal combined with the running color scheme makes them look like pure grit and rust. I will definitely be stealing some of these color ideas when I paint my nurgle warriors.
Hey thanks for the comments! I primed em black, painted on tin bits, drybrushed brass and boltgun in areas i wanted to "shine" more like the chain skirt and parts of the helmet. The cloaks I painted shadow grey, washed with thraka green (also washed sections of the armour with green) and then highlighted the cloaks and armor with lighter colors of the base.
Did some more work this weekend. again, C&C is always welcome.
Really classic and very sharp! Nice!
15 more warriors done today, that is all my Warriors, spawn, and puppies! All I have left is the General, two sorcerers , and the Hell Cannon and this army is complete! OK, maybe a display/carry tray too
As ALways, Comments and Crits welcome.
Another unit of Warriors
The army so far, including some spawn for fun :-)
opponents, you sure you want to see this coming at you :-)
Looking good! Maybe share the spawn skin paint scheme as it looks nice?
hmm, I was screwing around with the Spawn, I know they were primed black, I believe I mixed white/red to make a pinkish fleshy color, watered down slightly and painted all over the model, washed in leviathan purple, drybrushed with antique white, detailed the claws, spines etc with skull white. used the red ink in some spots for darker reds.
small update here
Did some assembly today. Since my Lord is using a magical sword instead of a hammer, I used a spare bit to change up this model a tiny bit.
Just need to assemble the HellCannon and then paint the lot and this army is complete (until I decide to add more stuff :-))
This army is phenomenal, and you are putting them together at an astounding rate.
Really well done.
cheers,
