hi all,

i am looking for some feedback on an 1850point SW list and whether this list would be competitive at all.

HQ

Wolf Lord - TWM, frost wpn, SS, wolf tail talisman, runic armour - 225pts

Rune Priest - storm caller, murderous hurricane, COTS - 110pts

Its basically a foot list and am going to utilise storm caller on the rune priest so the grey hunters and TWC get a 5+ cover save when moving up.

I would use the lone wolf to draw fire as well and the wolf scouts would be used to outflank with the wolf guard with the pwr fist and combi melta.

thinking whether having 3 troops is enough for the missions and if the TWC is overkill with the 2 squads.

not really looking for any armour as i want to try an army without tanks in use

I've always liked the wolf foot list.

I agree you are probably a little light on scoring. I'd free up the points by dropping the wolf lord and one or both units of wolf cav.

You could easily have five units of grey hunters, and a wolf priest in that 1850. I'd also consider spending a few more points to beef up the grey hunters weapon wise if your going all foot.
