Default Future Developments of the HH series

There is a short Q&A up on the BL blog. Below is the main stuff

Thanks to all 300+ of you who suggested a question, we picked the best of them and put them to authors Dan Abnett, Aaron Dembski Bowden, Chris Wraight and James Swallow.

What happened to the Death Guard? Did they turn to Nurgle on the way to Terra?
James:
Yes, but as with all things Chaos-y, it’s not quite that clear-cut. We have some really cool secret plans about how we’ll show the fall and what it means for the Heresy...

Will we hear any more about the Perpetuals: Trooper Persson and John Gramatticus are a couple of my favourite characters so far, I want more!
Dan:
We wouldn’t have put them in and not intended it to go somewhere very important.

Will we see more about the caverns in Calth?
Dan:
Yes, lots more and in different places. Know No Fear was just the beginning, we know that the battle raged for many years, and there's a certain showdown that fans of Graham's Ultramarines series have been waiting for...

When will we get more Night Lords?
Aaron:
Hypothetically, it’d be my next novel after Betrayer.
Hypothetically, it’d be called 'Nightfall'.
Hypothetically, it’d follow on right after 'Prince of Crows', which features in Shadows of Treachery.

When are the White Scars going to turn up?
Chris:
There is no way that the White Scars aren’t going to get their story told, and it’s something that has been given a lot of thought. Watch this space for more details!

Please tell us who the 2nd and 11th legions were and why they were deleted from all records.
Dan:
It’s interesting you should ask that becau-

Sorry Dan, we’re out of time, no one wants to know that stuff anyway.

Now if they can just keep all the stories to non-limited editions.... There's a pipedream.

I did notice they upped the price of the HH books starting with Fear to Tread to $9.99. I can't say I'm that upset about it because lately all of my HH novels are well worth the $9 I pay, but it makes me curious if they're adopting the taller mass market paperback size that publishing houses have been using. I really hope not. That'll kill the look of my collection on a shelf.

Cool stuff, I really need to get back into the HH series. Kinda got distracted fairly early on, but now there's so much that it's a little intimidating...

Now, if only GW proper had Q&As like this

This^^^ a million times, I hate when a series changes format half way through!

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

I neevr buy them direct from GW as moist retailers sell below the RRP so I can't say I had noticed. Seems a bit unnecessary.

Moist sellers have damp books

But yes, I have to have the same size edition for all my series of books, I find it very irritating each time I walk past my HH shelf and they have different colour tabs on the top of them

I also love the last question and the way BL handled it

That'll be why my books are all soggy then.

Do you know why they have all those different coloured tabs, I haven't been able to wrok out any patterns as they don't seem to link to author or topic (chapter).

At one stage I thought I knew what they were but I'm not sure.
Yellow seems to be anthologies with both loyalists and traitors
Purple seems to be non-marine focuses like legion (that's more Gramaticus story) and Nemesis
But I have no idea if that is correct

Sorry, but I don't think so. There are red and blue ones too. Thousand Sons and Prospero burns are both purple and marine focused.
