simple green and a brush works for me.

Simple Green is the best thing I've used thus far. Pine Sol works too, but leaves the models a bit sticky.
Like Tynskel said, simply green works great. But also theres this stuff they sell at the local Dollar store, it's called Totally Awesome (yes thats the name lol)or it works just great and its only a dollar.
I need to soak them or just spray them down an scrub them with a tooth brush
I alway soak mine in a glass jar for a few days and then scrub with a old toothbrush. If need be you can always put them back in if paints really bad.
they are pretty bad, I can see another layer of paint under the coat of primer on some of them
Plastic and plastic with metal bitz
Soak them for a couple days then scrub and repeat if you feel they needd it and you should be good.
