Default Can Jump infantry jump over units when charging if they use jump packs?

So, just what the title says:

Can Jump infantry jump over units when charging if they use jump packs?
I mean, the prequisite of getting those I10 hits is to use the jump packs, and since they can be used once per turn (either movement or assault), does it mean they move jumping to their destination

-> thus making them able to jump over enemy (and friendly) units when assaulting.

(similar like they can use their movement to jump over other units)

Yes. The Skybourne rule explictly states that when moving, charging and falling back using their jump packs they can move over intervening terrain and models. Though remember you have to be able to see to charge, so be careful with your positioning when hiding them behind other units.

Does it say they ignore terrain and stuff during the charge move? If not, then no. AFAIK, that only applies to their movement phase jump.

I'm guessing you were writing that post as mine hit the forum Darklink, but it does explictly state it counts for charging and falling back as well as moving.

Okay, if that indeed is the case, then assault units became a lot more viable for surgical strikes. (Meaning that you can't shield your vulnerable vehicles from CC with troops standing in front of them - given that you can roll enough from 2d6 to get all models over the intervening enemy unit

They do, though there are flipsides. They can only use the jumpack for either moving or charging, not both. And as fleet no longer lets you run and assault and charge ranges are variable, my Raven Guard Shrike-led outflankers don't hold quite the same terror they once did.
