Dakkadakka's forums are great, but really really busy. The problem that I've found is that the forums are so busy that either your thread is a boom or a total bust. If you post a list and it's not either really weird, or one of the top tier armies, you can expect it to be completely ignored. On the other hand, if you need a quick answer to an easy question - hey, where can I find a tutorial for X? - you usually get it quickly and efficiently.

Here, however, it's a lot easier to have a real conversation. BoLS is my Internet home! Welcome - you'll enjoy it.

I'm not anti-brony or anything. I've never seen the show (yet...), and even if I didn't like it, I think the whole anti-pony-thing is immature and inane. That said, there's something really disturbing about this creature's anatomy. The way it's legs are shaped, and the way it's moving... ugh.

Welcome though, I know I love it here at BoLS, you can usually have a good mature conversation, some fun quips back and fourth, and in general a good fun hearted time. Excuse my poor turn of phrase, it didn't come to mind the proper phrase.
