Dumb Ork Question re: Runtherds

So ... I've never made much use of gretchin in my ork lists. I'm curious: how much do runtherds cost?

The army list entry for the Gretchin unit includes in the header "3 points per model," and then specifies that each runtherd is "+10 points per model." I've always read this to mean that runtherds are 13 points apiece. Is that how everybody else reads it?

I always read it as the gretchin cost three points and that for each complete 10 you had to separately buy a runtherd for 10 points; i.e 40 points gets you 10 gretchin plus 1 runtherd for an 11 model unit.
