In payment for babysitting my nephew, I was rewarded by 1 bottle of Trooper (previously seen here: [URL="http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?22528-The-Beer-Thread&p=314101&viewfull=1#post314101"]#216[/URL])

Overall impression "meh"

I get the distinct impression it should have stayed being brewed for another month. The falvour was underdeveloped, and while not unpleasent was instantly forgetable.

Yeah I had a bottle of Trooper at a friends last week. Novelty beer really and the Iron Maiden gimmick is just that. Went back to drinking Tribute after 1 bottle.

Watched a prog last night about about the Guy who own's tiger beer.

Also tried a local north london beer yesterday was very nice, but left before I could get the name

Oh well good excuse to go back next week
