Evening all, just bought the Vengeance Battery box and going over the rules I discover you can't enter it. So my question is can I plonk a unit next to it and have it use their BS in a similar way to the Ageis Defence Gun?
Thanks.

Alas, no. Vengeance batteries follow the rules for automated gun emplacements found on page 96 of the wee rule book (index "Emplaced Weapons"). Since it can't be occupied it's always gonna follow the automated rules (unless there's a different rule on the sheet that came with it).

Aren't Ageis guns 'emplaced'?

They are but they're added to the defence lines so they are considered to be battlefield debris and so follow the rules on page 105 of the wee little book. The index helps if you look up "battlefield debris".

That's right, they are BS 2, and always fire at the nearest enemy unit - I have mine with Battle Cannons (much more reliable than Punisher Cannons IMHO as if they miss, there is still a chance that they'll hit an enemy unit.)
Magnetize the weapons.
