I probably come across as a bit of an ***, don't worry I just cannot abide stupid.
Yeah we had them earlier, a bit annoyed that Adrenals stayed the same and Toxins went up, but ah well. The speed boost and point reduction for base Hormagaunts is better than what we had before.

Shockcannon I can see being more anti-infantry... so either lots of shots at a lower strength... new version of electroshock grubs?
Impaler Cannon - Will pretty much stay the same, more Anti-armour.
On another note if someone hasn't already covered this as it's in the wording of things. I found this which someone has posted on the BOLS facebook page in the comments for the link to this forum rumor roundup.

Tyranid melee weapons come in pairs... (we knew this already).
For game purposes each pair is treated as a single melee weapon.
A tyranid model must fight with two pairs of "ANY" melee weapon to gain the bonus attack for fighting with two weapons.
Examples:-
Hormagant - one pair of scything talons.... no attack bonus for multiple melee weapons
Ravener - 2 pairs of scything talons... +1 attack for 2 melee weapons
Genestealer - pair of rending claws and a pair of scything talons.... +1 Attack for 2 melee weapons.
Personally I think unless the melee weapons become specialist then there is nothing from stopping you from using rending claws and boneswords.... Couple them with toxin sacs if those are unchanged ouch...
Ladies and Gents... we have seen the return of a swarm which if allowed to can put a lot of attacks into targets that not only have the benefit of sheer weight of damage but also how little it can be defended against.
I ordered at 3-4am this morning
1 Codex
3 Hive Crones/Harpy's
3 Haruspex's/Exocrines
2 Box's of new Warriors.
I already have 60 termagants, 18 warriors, 2 tervigons, 2 trygons, 40 hormagants, 40 genestealers, flyrant, hive tyrant, 7 hive guard, 12 zoanthropes.... about 6 carnifexs....
spawning pools have been busy.
