Picked him up and painted him just for something to do....
Tried a few new things on the gold, mainly using purple and green washes, but if anyone has any tips, fire in!

The gold is a 1:1 mix of scorched brown / shining gold, shaded with leviathan purple and thraka green then built up through shining, 1:1 shining / burnished, burnished and a final highlight with mithril silver, all glazed with gryphonne sepia at the end.
There was no danger of me trying any fancy NMM or reflective stuff on him. Ever....
