    Default Storm Lord Centurions

Painted these for a client a little while ago- they go with a force of Storm Lords that I've added to quite a bit over the years.

    Anyway, here they are:

I've always had a soft spot for the Storm Lords... love the colors!

    Thanks.

They're probably the brightest of all space marine chapters.

I ended up going with Howling Griffons for my collection but I've always wanted to have these too. The metal bitz you painted about really sets off the scheme well.

Of course, since I called these guys the brightest, you had to bring up the Howling Griffons.

Yep, they show up on the battlefield.

One funny note- last year at Gencon, the GW booth was showing off their terrain tables, and they decided to show it off with some Storm Lords.

Man, these guys really pop when you set them against terrain you've painted in all grey.

    They look fantastic

My only critique is that the bolter's gun barrels on the chestplate could really have done with being drilled out. or at least a dark circle to hint that they're meant to be tubes.

How did you paint your whites here? I love the shading.
