Wait... Space Wolves are becoming new Wulfen?
I swear, if they change the Space Wolves to all be werewolves in power armor (and awful models at that), I'm going to be officially done with 40K.
Yeah, with all the kits they've invested in for the army I doubt they would go that far. it does sound like the timeline is possibly moving forward though, perhaps they'll make the SW more rebels but still loyal to the emperor.

The Space Wolf geneseed is clearly tainted and must be cleansed. If any of them remain loyal to the Emperor, they'll do the right thing and offer themselves up for extermination. The Emperor is merciful, and he will forgive them.
There is one direction: FORWARD!
That's not how space wolfs work and you know it
But its nice to see the imperium embracing the traitors to their bossom and using them to cleanse the Emperors most loyal warriors.
However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!
A knee high fence, my one weakness
Erik, I guess you missed (or are willfully ignoring) that they've been retconed to have served the role of executioner since their inception, and that prior to the Age of Darkness, Russ and his get were the go-to Legion for when you needed something dead for sure. Russ and Bjorn aren't exactly cavalier on the subject, but then again, they aren't moping around, whining over being duped by Horus either. The Wolves, ironically enough, don't waste time romanticizing their warfare the way that the rest of the Imperium, their cousins included, do, they just accept that what they're doing, while not exactly righteous, is necessary. They really are the last faction in the game to call the state-sanctioned mass-murder they're expected to perpetrate anything more aggrandizing than what it is: murder.
Also goes some way to why they seek honour whenever they can - to prove they're more than just murderers.
Whilst they'll stand up to the Inquisiton when they want to wipeout survivors of a Daemonic incursion, that doesn't mean they won't think twice about slaughtering civilians when they're ordered to.

That's kind of my point. There's a huge deal made about how they're trying to do what's RIGHT. Even if it means killing a bunch of people, they'd consider it "justified." The term "murder" is usually used for a more evil form of killing, without necessity. So it feels just wrong for them to run around using it so much.
I think they just don't have a thesaurus around, and the current pen of writers are having a hard time coming up with new names fast enough.
Ooh, very nice!
