I have thought this very thing since I first started playing back in 2nd edition. As it stands right now, being an officer in the Air Force, I'd probably be a Space Marine Captain. My favored chapter is Dark Angels, but I don't think I could be one of them in "real life." I'd have to be a Crimson Fist or Blood Raven. From the novels I've read they seem to be some of the marines more in tune with their humanity. They seemed to care for the lives of the humans they were protecting or saving.

I'd either be toting Artificer Armor, Iron Halo, Power Sword and a Plasma Pistol or Terminator Armor with Storm Bolter and Power Sword.

Then again, being a Chaplain or a Librarian would kick butt too...

i'd totaly be a Grey Knight Justicar (in artificer armor) with NFW (Halberd, not sword) with psy-bolt upgrade for my Storm Bolter or a Grey Knight bro-cap, in termy gear, with halberd and psycannon on my wrist

Were the space marines to stop their rampant discrimination however, I would have to say either a far more attractive Sergeant Telion, or a Predator gunner. or a Tech Marine, so I can build tanks.
