I wanted a pet tiger but everyone was all 'illegal' this and 'the last thing you need is a giant killer kitty' that.

My mum knew the guys who bought the lion from Harrods and raised it back in the 70's.
Zookeeper Kevin Thatcher worked at the Bowmanville Zoo back in 2008, when they were raising a young 6 month old tiger named Jonas. Every night, one worker was required to take Jonas home so they could keep up with his hourly feeding schedule:
