Greetings and welcome!
My club will be in attendance with our event, Rok em Sok em Dreadnaughts!!!!!
I looked at it, let my friend buy it, and will what I need from him.
I'm hoping that they do a 5th edition update...kinda like the Blood Angels Codex that was on the site...that would be cool. If all they do is reprint the existing codices...not cool. Either way, we...
I'm just gonna paint my Marines like Chameleons so I can utilize any Marine codex that they come near.
I'm thinking of running a list similar to this for 'Ard Boyz...only my strategy is to start everything in reserve so that my opponent has nothing to shoot at. Then I can start bringing the lascannons...
When I first read the codex, this is the first sort of list that came to mind. Deep Striking Land Raiders with scoring units FTW.
Most definitely not a psychic power.
I like Aretkus Bardane, Chapter Master of the Relictors, and Inquisitor Kryptman...in the Tyranid codex.
whoa.
I agree. Pulling an army list off the internet does not teach you how to run it. I watch many people fall prey to not knowing what their army can do.
When I prepare to face an opponent, I face...
Playing the Meta Game stresses me out. When I play, I like playing a nice casual game. The Meta Game should be reserved for Tournaments. However, I find that the Meta Gamers cannot turn their game...
Yeah...I'm still working on that.
I love this list. I'm building something similar.
Everyone calls me crazy cuz I want to run 9 of them, blocking line of sight and distracting my opponent while my gargoyles move closer.
I ran a similar strategy with Drop Pods...and everyone hated...
Thank you. I try to keep busy.
I think it is a simple matter of units inside vehicles cannot be targeted.
All the folks in my area are talking about how easy these things are to kill. They die instantly to a las cannon. I'm waiting for someone to ram one so I can death or glory them. :D
I'm relatively new here...but so far I like it. I've only been playing 40K for a couple years, but I play or dabble in 7 different armies:
Space Marines - Relictors
Chaos Daemons - Nurgle...
The big benefit that the Drop Pods have over Rhino's are the Locator Beacon's. Any Deep Striking Unit can come crashing down around the Drop Pod's without deviating. This also mean's that the...
I actually run 7 drop pods. That way I drop 4 the first turn and 3 more in later turns. With the Master of the Forge, I can run 6 Dreads...so I put 4 Ironclads in the Opening Drop Pod Assault.
I use this tactic to confuse and obfuscate. The BIG problem with this tactic is that the Drop Pod can't shoot the first turn it enters play, since it counts as moving at cruising speed. Since it's...
I run into these idiots all the time.
You are correct sir. My bad. This makes for an interesting paradox since the DS rules simply state "First place one model from the unit anywhere on the table, in the position you would like the unit...
Where do you get those wonderful toys?
