I had a GOOD look at them today.
All I'm going to say is this: they look pretty good, and the stats are pretty tasty too.
Riptides can take drones, making it a multi model unit.
IC's can join multi model units.
Someone at GW doesn't know what they're talking about.
LOL. just LOL. loved the comic and oh SO portrays the sackless so well.
6th is fine. it plays well and the rules work reasonably well. leave it alone. If you seriously don't like a rule or rules in the book, get together with your buddies and make a house-rule instead...
what are you talking about? that was hilarious.
but yeah, thanks for letting me know. I must have missed that part in the supplement
I want to be clear on something here regarding how the 'dex and supplement interact, especially when it comes to signature systems.
If I have a commander from the Enclaves selected as one of my...

Just read through this thread looking for the OP/broken comments.. and boy is the nerdrage flowing.
I think my army will now consist of two of these with Longstrike in his ride now.

Love it. Looks awesome.
Reminds me of a mechwarrior assault mech rush.
Auto-fail on a one always bothered me when strength equaled armor value. I wish it was something like when you hit the target, you just skip the glance/pen step and proceed to roll for damage...
Yeah, I've owned Tau since early 5th, and bought the DE 5th ed book when it was released. I've have had many games with both, yet have no idea how either of them work.
Ain't you a bright spot,...
hmm..
After considering all the female roles in star trek, I came to these conclusions...
Janeway was too authoritarian, trying to fit in as a jarhead
Seven of Nine came off as too dry and...
To have a chance against Tau with DE.
Lots of sneakiness with cover. Take units that can deepstrike. And never ever cluster. Use a divide-and-conquer method. You have a scalpel, they have a...
There's another piece that I just found.
On the old tau codex, the sensor suite (or 'head') on the suit that's standing behind the Ethereal. We were staring at the new head style all these years...
Well, I don't know about that.
Nothing says 'your behaviour is unacceptable' like a good hard WHACK on the table delivered by hardcover. :)
We already do that with our PC's. Adding an xbox won't make a difference.
It's built in.
They might add that in, but why is that important?
That would kind of suck, but we'll deal.
Not that big...
hey, foxhound...
take two of your XV9's and pair them with shadowsun. Have fun.
Now come on. :) Don't ya think that's a bit of a blanket statement? there are some of us pc gamers that play stuff like Borderlands. :) looove that loot n shoot.
If you do go with this list, I want to see a batrep, just to see if you punched a tank to death. :D
Exactly. Threads like these are pure speculation from people who have no clue about the legal system, yet they feel compelled to comment.
nothing stopping you from adding in those toys in a game with friends.
that's why I suggested pairing the fusion blasters with seeker missiles. you CAN sit 18 inches out and beat one up. Because sometimes the weight of fire outstrips the single 2d6. It's up to you if...
That extra range of the fusion blaster puts the piranha out of charge range if you don't try for the 2d6 penetration. So if you're carrying two seeker missiles + the fusion blaster, that's three Str...
yes because that's still using primitive technology. :)
